Re: New to TG? Drop a "HI"

Hi guys,

Just thought I would drop in, our guild was playing on your server earlier this morning and one of the admins (I believe it was experiment626) said to pop in and say hi, so I am.

Our guild is Redemption and we wear the [RED] tags, was a change to play on a server where all the people were organized into squads rather than running round like headless chickens, I did mean we got less points than normal though!

We play pretty often and will try to drop in again, I haven't linked to our forums as I know some groups don't like that, but will swing back in here very now and then to check PMs

See you on the battlefield

Jkaen

Welcome Jkaen It's always good to see clans on our server contributing to the teamwork. Feel free to post your link (it won't let you post it properly until 15 posts, but I will fix it for you if you post an indicator to the URL).

We look forward to seeing you guys more often.

Re: New to TG? Drop a "HI"

Hi, I've played on the TG server a few times and I LOVE it. The competition is great and the squad mentality is awesome. This is my first FPS, so when I saw the Learn TG thread I was excited. I'll be looking out for those squads. I think I'll add the TG tag to my name as well because I have read the rules, and I think this community would be a great fit for me!

Welcome [RED], it was nice seeing an organized squad besides TG out there. You guys gave us hell on the statue and the reactor, so, um...maybe we shouldn't let you back LOL. JK. Welcome to TG, and if you get a chance check out our rules and SOPs... I had to kick a few of your guys the other night for not squading up...sorry.

Re: New to TG? Drop a "HI"

I am [RED]KirelRed. As Jkaen said, we enjoyed gaming on your server. We didn't get as many points doing so, but it was refreshing and challenging to compete against other squads instead of the standard horde of unwashed barbarian rush, that plagues so many servers.

A few comments that may help from people getting kicked ( at least from our end ).

I have played on several servers where the squad was preserved throughout the gaming session. It seemed as if we were re-squading every map change and round change. Because of the squad up rule, we often times had RED members getting kicked from the server while waiting for the squad leader to kick non RED from our squads.

Other than that and stated again, it was a pleasure and a challenge to play on your server.

Hello everyone! It's been many months since I've had the time to play with TG, but I just picked up my copy of 2142 and looking forward to some excellent teamwork and squadmates!

Re: New to TG? Drop a "HI"

Hi all,

I played on the TG server for the first time this past weekend and I have to say that was the most fun I have ever had in a battlefield game. I never played BF2 but I was an avid Desert Combat player.

I spent the rest of my weekend playing in the server as much as I could and it was great. The squad organization is awsome and is good to see everyone working together instead of everyone running around on their own like beheaded chikens trying to get as many kills as posible.

Last game I was able to play on sunday night, we defended a post for the whole round and whatever we didn't make in score we made more than enough in satisfaction when we lost but that was the only outpost they were not able to take during the whole match.

Looking forward to playing more with you guys

Welcome Yoyi! I know this will be the last server you'll ever want to play! Keep posting with your feedback and ideas.

How did you happen upon the TG server (chance, banner ad, etc.)?

Re: New to TG? Drop a "HI"

I was looking for somewhere to play and just happened upon the server.

I joined one of the Learn TG squads wich Silver.7. was leading but then I had a connection problem with EA master server so it took me a while to get back in since I couldnt find it and didn't remember the name so I ended up adding Silver.7. to buddy list.

Later that day I played in Bommando's squad and added him to buddy list as well, he told me to come check out the site.

Yay! Welcome Yoyi, and its fantastic that you enjoyed the server. You just happened to be in squads with 2 of our best squad leaders, and there are many others, too! Make sure you read all the Rules and SOP's in our announcements sections so you understand our mentallity and ruleset. Hope to play with you soon!
