Re: New to TG? Drop a "HI"
Hello, everyone. I stumbled upon your server by chance and thoroughly enjoyed my initial experience. After playing a few rounds in one of the LEARN TG squads, I decided to check out your website and read up on the community of players associated with Tactical Gamer. I am glad I decided to do so, because the style of play promoted by TG is exactly what I enjoy and meeting likeminded players has been hard for me.
Instead of struggling to find the rare soldier interested in working as a team in one of the many other public servers, I plan to spend my time on TG. Last evening, I was fortunate enough to play a few more rounds with a LEARN TG squad and had more fun in those few hours than I have anywhere else. Furthermore, I ended up with three consecutive personal best rounds with this group. In fact, during one round, I actually earned over 50 points just supporting my fellow squad members.
My contact accounts are all under the name pfeil2281, but my soldier’s name is C.Pfeil. Unfortunately, in all of my excitement, I forgot many of the names of my squad-mates and was unable to add them to my buddy list. If anyone happens to remember playing with me and would like to add me, please feel free to do so.
I have read all the required TG reading and those announcements and rules specific to BF2142, but am still a bit unclear about how one goes about becoming a member. Do you just need to read, accept, and follow the rules and guidelines or is their an application like those many “clans” use in other games? Either way, I defiantly think I have found a home with TG and hope to contribute as much as I can in the days to come.
I look forward to having fun with everyone on the filed of battle.

Heya all the new members!
Pfeil, you know, TG is a narcotic, later or sooner you'll bring the money yourself, just because you've got addicted

Re: New to TG? Drop a "HI"
I appreciate the warm welcomes. After spending some more time browsing the forums and different sites associated with TG, I decided this is defiantly the place for me and became a Supporting Member. Of course, after reading that available player slots on the BF2142 server might be reduced and noticing the change to 50 slots this afternoon, I had to make sure I got to the front of what probably will be a long waiting line.

Re: New to TG? Drop a "HI"
Hi guys,
I saw a banner ad for your server on the 22CW Tourney site so thought I'd come check you out.
I've been looking for a decent server that encourages squads, but as I don't have the time available to commit to a full-blown tourney (like 22CW, or Combat Studios BF2 tourney that I was in for a while) it's not been an easy search.
What timezones are most of you guys in? I checked the server tonight at 10pm GMT and I was the only one there
I'll be checking back over the weekend, hopefully catch some of you on
Zhoed

Wow, your wife should definitively talk to my girlfriend...everytime I leave for work I have to hide the game....:-)
Well, is she takes the game, she better pick up a bus pass!
Congrats to a cool wife...

I'm not exactly new but, hello everyone.
Say, is Kilrogg still flying around and killing people?

Hi Zhoed, welcome! Make sure you post on the buddy list. If you want and are looking for squad play you have come to the right place. Team work and squad play is what TG is all about!
Our BF 2142 servers are not part of a tourney but rather we play amongst our fellow members and players who join our server. You don't need to have alot of time to play on our servers as you can jump in game when ever you choose.
We have players all over the world in all timezones so you usually find players. Depends on what server you join, the Titan server has had less players than the Conquest maps. We changed the player count on ther servers to encourage better teamplay and were working on the Titan servers as well. You can find the server IP's in the BF 2142 section.
So stick around and join a "Learn TG" squad to get a feel of how we play. See you in game!

Re: New to TG? Drop a "HI"
Hi all,
I played BF2 for a few weeks/months back when it came out and played pretty much on TG servers as much as possible. I enjoyed the experience, so naturally when I got BF2142 recently, I sought out TG again.
Great to be back and I'm looking forward to getting to know you all again.

Those are my feelings exactly.
Although I don't get to play much during the week, on weekends I will be playing on TG. The Learn TG squads are great.
I also had a question about using the TG tag.
I have read everything and this is deffinetly the kind of comunity I want to belong to, and support.

Re: New to TG? Drop a "HI"
Just got done with a marathon session of 2142, part of which was spent with a LEARN TG squad; great fun. I'll definitely be frequenting the TG servers more than any others.
Hope to see y'all in-game.
