Re: New to TG? Drop a "HI"
Howdy Folks,
I have been playing on the TG server off and on for a week or so. I love it there. So I decided to become a supporting member, because I got tired of being kicked. It seem a lot of folks want to play here. Hope to see you folks out there, either behind my sights or reviving my often killed self. Last edited by C.T_Emrie; 12-12-2007 at 08:52 AM. Reason: Typo |

Re: New to TG? Drop a "HI"
Welcome to TG and thanks for supporting right away, great to see someone come in with a supporting membership on their first post! If you have not done so take a minute and read the required reading to make sure you know what we are all about. We all look forward to seeing you on the battlefield soon. Oh and get your teamspeak up and running and do not hesitate to jump in any of the in house squad channels and ask for an invite to a squad during a round, we would love to have ya!

This is Battle Medic. I started Christmas Day of '06 and stopped playing sometime in Spring of 07 due to the monster hours work was requiring of me. I just picked up BF2142 again. TG was always my favorite server so I was glad to see it still kicking and decided to officially tag up.

Hi TGers!! I've been playing on your 2142 server off and on for a few weeks. I played tonight, and honestly had a fantastic time. I get so frustrated playing on servers where the SLs are not leaders at all. It makes my head want to explode. Valdi (sp?) was the SL and I just had a blast playing behind his leadership.
I LOVE your server. The settings are exactly what I would pick if I had my own, from manditory squading to the 1:30 timer between games. Reading through this forum was also a breath of fresh air. I have clashed with other groups/clans who almost require you to cuss like a sailor and behave like a drunken college freshman. The mature atmosphere here is so refreshing. THANKS!!! |

Re: New to TG? Drop a "HI"
Welcome Birch, sounds like you found a home and we are very glad to have ya. First and foremost we are a community, more family than anything else, you wont see the word clan tossed around here to often unless of course it is when we go smack around some clan. Take the time to read our required reading, can be found at the top of every page and ask questions when you have them, we are all here to help. Welcome to Disneyland, a frozen dangerous Disneyland, but the best place on this virtual earth.

Re: New to TG? Drop a "HI"
Hey Guys. Been playing since July. I'm not as good as I'd like to be but then again it's a game, right? Very much enjoy playing on the TC servers and have found that when I do hook up with a well formed squad, success is rather high. Love that. Hoping to join a clan sometime soon, but I've not had any luck with a VoIP rig that works, not sure if it's a requirement all the time.
Cheers!!! |

![]() I don't believe it's in the primer; in fact, I believe we have current members who don't have working VOIP. If you're looking for info on getting it working, though, check out the tech support forums here for 2142. They've been very helpful to me on a number of issues. See you on the field.

Re: New to TG? Drop a "HI"
Welcome, I know for a fact that any TG squad will have Voip and be using it. See you all on the battlefield.

Re: New to TG? Drop a "HI"
I got BF2142 for Christmas last month, and I've found myself frequenting TG's servers more often than others. I decided I've become interested enough to join this forum because I'm really interested in learning about leadership, tactics, and teamwork.
I'm a poor college student (art major), and I've been playing video games since a young age. Recently I've been drawn into Dungeons & Dragons and Warhammer 40,000 (obvious from my avatar), and I'm enjoying learning to think with a tactical mind and working with a team of like-minded individuals. I don't claim to be the best gamer (I've accidently team killed a couple times, but I usually play Assault kit so I try to revive right away and apologize), but I'm learning fast and you can trust me to play honorably. My social and thinking skills are typically better than my gaming skills, so I'm very interested in learning to be a squad leader and eventually, a commander. After reading some of the basics about this community, I'm really excited that I can find some people who can help me, and I'm excited to learn new things, meet new people, and contribute back in any way I can. Hope to work with you guys soon. |

Re: New to TG? Drop a "HI"
Hey folks. Been playing BF2 and 2142 for a long time.... and love your 2142 server. Hands down the best public server I've played on. So I registered here and I'm adding |TG| to my player name (flatsix). Props to you guys for running such a good server.
