Welcome to TacticalGamer.com, a community of mature like minded players practicing real world tactics with respectful manners. Our Battlefield 2 community has become one of the best known for its high quality Squad Leaders, Commanders and extremely disciplined troopers.

We are hoping to suck out everything that Battlefield 2142 has to offer in terms of tactics, strategies, and fun.

Hi-

I've been playing on the conquest server for the last few days, and really enjoying it. This is my first FPS online game, but I've been playing RPGs and whatnot for years.

I was banned from the server this evening for some inexplicable reason- any way I can get back in? This seems like a fine community.

Howdy ho friends. I've been playing in TG battlfied servers for almost a year now as the mighty and insane (although mostly just insane) evaunit05. He may not get a lot of points all the time but he takes the ones he gets with a maniacal laugh, bwhahahahahahaha!!!!! EHEM, anyway, I just joined the boards a day or two ago so it's a pleasure to meet yall. Now if you'll excuse me, I have tanks to destroy.

Thanks Perry- I just created a new soldier and was able to log on. It doesn't really effect anything, since points are not counted yet.

If I might ask a question- does one of the faqs cover anything like general etiquette or lingo for TG? I'm really new to Battlefield play altogether- I have played lots of other online games, so I know how not be a complete jerk, but I'm not sure of some of the terminology I see. I really appreciate the effort to stay 'tactical', as most of my gaming experience is with turn based strategy, both computer and tabletop/boardgaming.

Best bet is probably to start in the BF2 Announcements section and go through all that stuff. Those threads haven't been copied / adapted to 2142 yet, but things should end up being pretty similar.

I think we're only able to ban by IP address right now, so if you were able to get in w/ the different soldier name than it was probably just some fluke.

Hello! Sounds like you folks have a great community - I have a friend (FrozenRev/teh_pronerer) who plays on your BF2 servers quite a bit.

Hope to see you guys in BF2142, PoE2, and possibly Darkfall as well.

Not really new, just have not been around in a while. Used to play BF2 when it first came out, Godfrey was my tag. Now with this game, I am back on and really enjoy the atmosphere. Tag is Mr?Clark in game
