Re: New to TG? Drop a "HI"
Hi ya TG
Great server it's always a great time in there, only thing that sucks is getting bumbed for a paying member, but that's very understandable. So guess I should ask if the 8th ever recruit? And if so how?
Ps. yes I'm alittle nuts ..ask around :}

Re: New to TG? Drop a "HI"
We are currently recruiting, please check our WIKI for the specifics. First and formost, please take the time and read all the required reading for TG first and spend some time here to make sure this is as great of a place as we all think it is. Welcome to TG Avalanche, we have enjoyed having you in our squads. All the links you need can be found in my signature. See you on the battlefield.

Re: New to TG? Drop a "HI"
Wheeee! Hi, I'm not new to TG, I've been playing BF2 Project reality on the TG server for about 6 months now and recently a bit of World in Conflict. WiC really messed my PC up so we had to wipe the HDD and reinstall windows xp to sort it out. I'm going to install 2142 again as I haven't played in ages and need some good fun. Does TG run a normal 2142 server or is it Northern Strike only?

Re: New to TG? Drop a "HI"
The standard server runs a 50-man vanilla conquest rotation, while the secondary server runs varying sessions, including Northern Strike, Titan, 32-man games, and tweaked non-ranked games. If you're really wanting to play NS, every Friday there's a special event on the secondary server, called Phrosty Phriday. I'm sure there will be a thread about it closer to the weekend. Enjoy!

Ah ok, thanks. I don't have NS and was wondering whether it's worth buying or not.

Re: New to TG? Drop a "HI"
There's an excellent thread on the topic here. I'd say yes, mostly for the extra rocket per clip and the extra clip. 4/4 rockets is immensely superior to 3/3. The maps are nice, in my opinion, but its the unlocks that really make it worthwhile.

Re: New to TG? Drop a "HI"
The E1st are awesome! I play with them all the time.

We play for fun and any are welcome to apply. We are not stright in any way. During the trial we'll get to know each other better and then both you and the E1st can decide if it all fits. I think this applies to all other ihs as well.
Meanwhile i'll see you around and let's buddy up, the Euro peeps needs to stick together anyhow.

Re: New to TG? Drop a "HI"
Hi there, im Prone_To_Death, which is also my ingame soldier tag most of the time, though I do play as Gauntsghost1 when I feel like messing around with the basic guns and stuff (Sometimes its good to play without the bonuses :P makes you feel real.). I really dig the tactical stuff and I hope to play on you alls server quite a bit in the future, more so then I have been recently. Good shooting.

Hello Prone. I noticed you were on the opposing side last night during a very frustrating round for my squad. Please feel free to squad up with the 8th guys any time. Cheers and welcome.

Re: New to TG? Drop a "HI"
hello everybody!
i stumbled upon your server yestrday (sunday, round 10:00 am german time) for a round of bridge at remagen and found myself in a fiesta of roofcamping and baseraping!
i actually joined here to to tell what i think of such servers, but after reading some of the stuff in this forum, i think i just happend to have come at an adminless time, as it seems not to be your way of playing.
iŽll try to join again sometime, since it sounds/reads like a revelation to play your style...
sincerely
jd
do you allow non TGs in a TG squad? since i still have a lot to learn...

Re: New to TG? Drop a "HI"
Welcome!
You must have joined at a bad time yeah, because those actions aren't permitted and not very fun either.
We encourage teamwork here and in a mature way.
You can read the TG Primer, the BF2412 Server Rules, and the BF2142 SOP's. They tell alot about how we like to play the game.
You can join any squad you like, as long as it's open offcourse.
Also look for the "Learn TG" squads, they are the best to learn our play-form in.
Cya around then!
