Welcome Gillespie! I believe you were in my squad for acouple of games. Thanks for the great team work. I can assure you that you will not want to play BF 2142 on any other server but TG! Make sure you look around the site and post your ideas and feedback.

Played with you guys a bit before on your BF2 servers. Hooked up with ya tonight on 2142. I like the way you guys play so I decided to check out your site and get registered. Id be honored to wear the ]TG[ insignia into battle! But how come everyone just dropped off the 2142 server like they heard ebola was spread from it?

Is there a certain time that everyone usually plays?

Not a problem; I'm loving the Engineer class for its huge teamwork possibilities. I'll see you in-game!

Our BF 2142 servers are not part of a tourney but rather we play amongst our fellow members and players who join our server. You don't need to have alot of time to play on our servers as you can jump in game when ever you choose.

We have players all over the world in all timezones so you usually find players. Depends on what server you join, the Titan server has had less players than the Conquest maps. We changed the player count on ther servers to encourage better teamplay and were working on the Titan servers as well. You can find the server IP's in the BF 2142 section.

So stick around and join a "Learn TG" squad to get a feel of how we play. See you in game!

I got on for part of two rounds tonight before I was kicked for a supporting member... but you're just what I've been looking for.

Apologies for not remembering the learnTG SL name (and for killing him once), but the experience was good enough that I signed up as a supporting member.

Looking forward to fighting alongside you all

    Hi TGers,

I stumbled upon your forum by mistake and liked what I saw. I'm relatively new to FPS and BF2142 but I like the team aspect of the game and thought this looked a good community. I have a long way to go in the game as I can't aim to save my life at the mo,ho hum....

Hope to see you in game.

    Hello all!

Ok, you're going to laugh..but I've picked up Battlefield 2142 a little while ago and have been playing single player to get the hang of the game. (I have yet to venture into multiplay but I have enough confidence that I can survive long enough to be of some use, so I'm preparing to make the jump.) So I was surfing the net looking for tips and whatnot when I came across TG. I must say..I believe it's fate that I found this place. I'm all in to the 'tactical' side of games. I currently play LOTS of WoW (60 Orc Hunter on Turalyon and a 35 Tauren Shammy on Echo Isles) and completely LOVE the tactical side of raiding. The different ways raids try to take down a Boss depending on what classes are in the raid.

So I really love the squad facet of this game, the Commander giving orders to Squad Leaders, and then the Squad Leaders deligating his orders to the rest of the squad. The Commander balancing ground attack with air attacks...tactical retreating...ambushes...*faints*.

Anyway, I'm planning on trying out multiplayer, so please don't yell to much at the noob named Takk, should you see him.

Welcome Wooley/Takk! Glad you found us as you will never play another server again! It's all about team play here at TG. Make sure you put your name on the Buddy List thread.

    See you in game!

Ironic of me to say use the following word, but...TRUTH!

As for SLs delegating CO orders, most servers, a lot of people don't even join squads, and many SLs don't pass orders or give them (except on TG servers :P ) So we are a rare find in such a dismal collection of gamers from around the globe competing for "l33tn3ss".

Hey, sounds like you like squads, so join one of the TG squads, and before you know it you'll be wearing our tag and becoming a supporting member.

Come on in the water's fine. Have you played any other FPSs online? If not you will have many moments of "how did I die?". I still have them But stick with it and stick with your squad and the fun will come.

You have to join a squad in 90 seconds or you will be kicked. So don't forget to join one. If you see a TG squad jump on in.

Re: New to TG? Drop a "HI"

    Thanks for the warm welcome.

I've played FPSers before, just not online..and I had a few of those..how did I die moments last night.

I'm sure it's just beginner's 'bad' luck..but I couldn't seem to get in with other TGers..most of thier squads filled up really quick. (And from what I saw of them..there's a good reason why...they rock.) So I always ended up in a squad who's SL didn't give out any orders and I was basicly on my own with no upgrades and was pretty much cannonfodder. I must admit..is was rather frustrating, but I'll be back and keep plugging away.

I just wish there were servers set aside for us recruits to do a little...basic training...so to speak. =(

Hey guys. I'm new to BF2142. I just bought it today and it is installing as I type. I am a regular on the CS:S server and wear my TG tag proudly.

Hope to see you guys on the server soon.
