Re: New to TG? Drop a "HI"
Hi, I'm a big fan of the TG philosophy. I first tried to play with the TG group on your BF 2 server and it was very well run. I'm really liking the BF2142 server and game, but the server has been very full lately. I'm planning on joining up and contributing, I look forward to getting on the server more regularly!

Re: New to TG? Drop a "HI"
Hi guys,
Like many others mentioned before me, i stumbled upon one your servers the other day and was immediately impressed with the level of organization and commitment to teamwork. It only took one kick for a PM for me to contribute and let me say that it has been well worth it.
Thanks all (admins and players alike) and keep up the great work!

Re: New to TG? Drop a "HI"
Ultrablue found me wandering aimlessly on some nameless server, yelling at my squad to do something strategic and brilliant, and he felt I might be interested in your community. I've been "lurking" for a couple days now, and I've really enjoyed reading all of your past exploits.
I'm a long-time FPS gamer (I played Wolfenstein 3D and Doom when they were the latest and greatest ... anyone else that old?), but have been sucked into the WoW vortex for the past year. BF2142 has brought me back to my roots, and I'm glad to find an organized group of players that think bunny-hopping idiots and suicide runners need to just go back to CS and stay there.
In-game name is Jagere, currently wearing a =KE= tag (my WoW guild) so people will stop asking me to wear theirs.
Yes, I'm that good.
DISCLAIMER: Some, but not all, parts of this tale have been exaggerated. It's up to YOU to figure out which ones.

Re: New to TG? Drop a "HI"
Welcome guys! Glad you found us!
That's easy... You're here, and you value and abide by the TG standards (except for grammer perhaps
)... so you already have joined!! You're one of us now!! Check out this thread and consider wearing the |TG| tags in game.
If you'd like to help the community financially (and get a reserved slot on our servers, webspace, email address, access to members-only forums, etc.), just click the "Members" link up on the top there and then "TG Memberships"....
<zap> alright, you're good to go!Last edited by WhiskeySix; 12-02-2006 at 06:12 PM.

Re: New to TG? Drop a "HI"
Just joined and made it to class @ TGU tonite on time. Thx to Freeky and the others for the good lessons. I'm retired Navy and now nearing retirement as a fed. agent so I was looking for a place us older guys could hang. Got a question about tags: how do you add the [TG] in front of your BF2 nickname without having to load in a new profile - and lose all the really cool badges and rank I've spent part of my hidden life acquiring? Thx and see you online.

Re: New to TG? Drop a "HI"
Add | T G | to the PREFIX section when you log on 8th. THe | won't show up when you type but they will apear in game. Also, since your supporting member, make sure you update your profile with your PID number, so you can get a slot on the server and you won't be kicked. Welcome, and thanks for paying the bills
If you ever see a Learn TG squad don't hesitate to jump in.
