Welcome Bishop! Glad you found the place! Your not going to find a better server to play on! There is no join here button at TG. All you're asked to do is some reading about the TG way. Hit the forums and find the links that'll start you down the path of becoming an "enlightened" TG player. In particular, search out the Standard Operating Procedures forum and read everything you see there.

Basically once you have a good understanding of the type of gameplay and behaviour expected on the TG server, you're welcome to add the |TG| tag. It's as simple as that! Now, you can become a supporting member (look for the membership link near the top of the page). Your money goes to support TG, but also will provide you with some additional items as well, one of which is the ability to join the 2142 server even if it shows it's full.

I am a nut for teamwork and my passion is squad leading (I used to be the SL for a bf2142 clan i was in way back as well as CL for a short time before leaving).
I also play a bit of COD4 with some friends and drill some basic SAS tactics into them =P

I'm an xbo360 gamer and spend a lot of time on COD4. This is a pretty big site and a bit more complex than others I've been on, so I'll have to stumble around awhile. Where do I go next to get with others playing the same?

Howdy, folks.

This is a whole lotta firsts for me. First FPS I actually played for more than ten hours*, first MMFPS ever, first clan-like group I've joined, and... First post on the forums.

I have to say, the last couple of weeks of playing on TG servers have spoiled me -- my tolerance for joining a squad and seeing the little green dots running in random directions all over the map is pretty much gone.

And, claim to fame: Grabbing the Walker, backing it up, and... Stepping on an APC, killing four of my own squadmates. Incidentally, I don't drive anymore.

*Third one I've played for more than half an hour, but to give you an idea of the frequency, the previous two were the original Wolfenstein and then C&C:Renegades

You're definitely level headed and fun to play with Cheburash. Glad to have you with us.
