Hey Helix, good to see you on the forums mate. Read up on what we're about and the server rules, one forum above.

And join us on TS. If you think we were chatterboxes in the squad, mate, you ain't seen nothin' yet.

Edit: Ah, I see you've already got it figured out. Most of us hang out in the main BF2142 channel. The second server channel isn't that popular as most people don't have Northern Strike installed.

Wow, it has been quite a while since I have said welcome to everyone. Its awesome to see so many new faces, on the forums, and the server alike. Glad to see that the light is getting brighter still.

Hi!

I used to play a lot on TG servers. I liked how things were done the TG way, except that one time me and a Muslim squad member of mine decided it would be fun to play terrorists with Jihad Jeeps.

Aside from that warning though, I've always stuck to the TG way.

Then I had to drop playing 2142 for a bit. Now I'm back. Hope to join TG servers more often. They're getting hard to find for some reason...

About how you did your |TG| tag really didn't go right... Right way to do this is to press Alt Gr then button with <>| type TG and do it again. Bf2142 won't show you | when you type them but they will be in game.

Don't really understand what you mean by "Alt Gr <>| TG". I remember reading a thread about it here..., but I can't find it again.

To type out the |TG| in your tag, when it asks for your clan name in BF2142 just type out |TG| (notice we do not use the ( or { or [ or I or lower case L for our tags, we use the strait line that is usually shift + \ . It may not look like the | is there, it will not show correctly, but when you get in the game it will be correct.

Hope this helps and welcome to TG. Just remember, when you add the tags, you fully agree to all follow ALL of the rules behind them. Make sure you know what that means.

you should check out teamspeak, this is a seperate app from the game that is used for banter between rounds and reporting to admins during rounds, we had 40 people on there last night, see here
