Re: New to TG? Drop a "HI"

Remember! More flags, more fun! TG has 29 flags by the way. Why take 6 when you can get 29?
Welcome to all new members! See you on the battlefield!

Re: New to TG? Drop a "HI"
I've been playing Battlefield 2142 casually since launch; I started with Battlefield 2 and never looked back.
I thoroughly enjoy participating as a team member on the TG servers because objectives are completed and games won, in an efficient manner. I can't begin to count the number of times I'd play as the Support class, only to find every single member of my squad spread around the map.
Machine-gunners aren't the high-strung "breach and preach" class, they're the fallback guy who's good at keeping a safe spot for spawns and ammo.
By chance, I found a Tactical Gamer server a few months ago; I was instantly hooked on Battlefield 2142 again. I'm going to apply for a clan tag, but even if I can't get one, the kind people of TG have my grattitude for showing me that BF 2142 can be a game based on teamwork.

Re: New to TG? Drop a "HI"
Welcome to the fun Hamster.
First off, Tactical Gamer is NOT a clan. We are a community. Anyone is welcome to put on the |TG| tags as long as they know, understand, and follow our rules and the SOP.
Don't let how easy it is to join fool you. Being a part of TG is more than just having |TG| in front of your name, and it should not be gotten into lightly. Adding the Tags is a real commitment, one that you will be expected to follow. That said, welcome to the last server you will ever want to play.
Take some time to fully read and understand our server rules and the TG SOP. (links to both are in my signature)
See you on the battlefield

Re: New to TG? Drop a "HI"
Hi guys. After playing on the TG server for the past few weeks, I'm hooked. I've seen some of you out in the field and I must say, I've learned a lot on how to play - thank you. I still have a lot more to learn though. One day, I hope to be able to pay that forward.
I'll still a little new with the whole mic thing, but it's growing on me. And please forgive me if I tend to drop out. The server likes to PB me rather often after a while. I still can't figure out what it is though.
Cheers,
JR

Re: New to TG? Drop a "HI"
Well the PB ban is our supporting member script. It kicks the longest playing non supporting member to make room for a supporting member when the server is full. One of the MAJOR perks to being a Supporting member is being kick free, and unless the server is 100% full with other supporting members there is always a spot open for you. Normally if you get the boot just wait a few minutes and try and there will hopefully be a slot for you.
Anyways... Welcome to |TG|

Re: New to TG? Drop a "HI"
Hi all, My name is Matt and I have been playing on the TG Server for a few months now. I love the organization that everyone has and thought it might be a good idea to get on here so I can get on when its full, since that happens quite often. I was referred to this site by TG E1st Silver. Look forward to seeing you guys on the battlefield.
