Re: Who's buying the full version?
hehe, kind of what I was thinking. If I could return a game for a full refund just because I didn't like it, then fair enough.
As it stands, the demo is supposed to be a good indicator of the game to come. We all know this was rushed out the door and quite a few people are now having serious issues still with the full version. Unfortunately, this is starting to become the norm with a lot of PC game releases these days and it's getting pretty frustrating. I encourage all the people who like it to keep playing it and enjoying it. EA and DICE haven't really provided something that satisfies me in the demo. Neither stylistically, nor functionally. |

Re: Who's buying the full version?
Personally, I really like it.
It'll take some getting used to, but I played some great matches with (and against) fearfulldave, redbane, thefatkiddeath, and others. There are a few things that I think need to be tightened, but all in all, I liked it. Didnt even see the ads, myself. We need more people on the TG servers!

Re: Who's buying the full version?
<-- bought my copy this afternoon. Mixed it up with Snail, Fatkiddeath, and others. I think I finally got my mic working so the fun factor should keep rising from this point on.
Adding Snail to my bud list hopefully I can team up with you all again. Oh, that server we were playing on, #1 that is, we don't get unlock pts. off that server? I thought I had earned a whole bunch from the first map but I didn't unlock anything. heh. Edit: never mind I reread Apophis' post that the server was NOT ranked. |

Re: Who's buying the full version?
I'll probably pick it up, but not for a little while. I was pretty unimpressed by the demo, and I think BF2 still has some legs with the various mods. Besides, I need to catch up on some other games, and I really need to finish some of my models.

Re: Who's buying the full version?
The full game is much more fun than the demo.
Apart from anything else, the demo map sucks.

Re: Who's buying the full version?
I am not paying EA to put spyware/adware on my computer. I don't care how good such a game could be, I simply can't support a company that does that. Hopefully a "cracked" version minus the spyware hits the torrents, I wouldn't mind sticking it to the man. Don't get me wrong, I support developers by legally buying a well develeoped game, but I mean... come on EA.

Re: Who's buying the full version?
I haven't seen a single ad yet, it just shows the default billboards. Not sure what's going on.

Re: Who's buying the full version?
I want to pick this game up over the weekend, anyone know of a good store or website that has a deal on it? I've already reviewed the deal at Circuit City, but there isn't one within 100 miles of me. I blame Minnesota.
