Veterans Program Question
Howdy, I haven't a clue what details I used to get the veterans program to work for me when I signed up. I've read on other forums that if you register the CD key with a different email from the one you used for the veterans program you'll have no way of accessing the reserved nick or free unlock.
Anyone have any idea how to retrieve the info I need before I screw it all up?

Re: Veterans Program Question
I used EA Downloader and I used my account and password from that not sure what Email I used. My veteran registered nick automatically showed up. I also created a new user RedBane and somehow got the veteran bonus on that user aswell. I could not register that name on the veterans program not sure why, maybe the BF2 names automatically got registered or something.
Anyway I now have a |TG| RedBane user in 2142 with 2 unlocks.. So good to go. Hopefully you can figure it out. There is always phone support. |

Re: Veterans Program Question
I did the EA downloader and all my characters new or old received one unlock. I don't know if this was my vet status or a preorder unlock, but I've receive only 1 unlock but at least it applies to all my characters..

Re: Veterans Program Question
I also used EA Downloader. I got the character name I registered on the veterans program with one free unlock. I then created RedBane and got a free upgrade for that character aswell.
Point is even if you cant get the veterans status, its so easy to get the first unlocks so should not be a big deal. The one thing you will be missing if you dont get the veterans program is the BF2 icon infront of your name in game. You decide if thats important or not. I assume you have to use the same account you used when registering the veteran status when you register the game if not as you stated there will be no free unlock. I suggest that you try to use the same account, if you dont remember you could call EA Support. If you dont care about the icon infront of your name just use the new account. |
