    Log in woes

Ok, we got BF2142 and it's installed under my sister's EA account. Now, I try to log in under my account, and hopefully my soldier name, but for some reason it won't let me because the game says that "The CD key has been registered to another account". And then, when I tried to create a new soldier under my sister's account, it said the name was already taken. If the cd key's already registered and my soldier name is exclusive only to my account, does that mean I have to go get another copy of 2142 and have a cd key of my own so I can use my soldier name and vet status? I'm kinda ticked at EA right now.

I may just end up getting a new name, since EA sucks. What's the point of doing the whole Vets program when I can't even log in. Apparently, EA forgot about the demographic of "Homes with multiple Battlefield users and only one computer"

You cdkey most liekly as you state is connected to the account. You can still install it on mutiple machines but have to use the same account.

I guess in your case your player will be reserved on your account which means you need a copy for yourself.

Or you could call EA to have them fix it for you.

You could also live with not having the first unlock free and diffrent name and no BF2 veterans icon infront of your name. Depends on how much you value that. Is it worth 50 bucks then buy a new copy or spend time with EA support to try to fix it.
