If I purchase online? Can I backup my copy?
Hi!
I am thinking of perhaps purchasing the game from EA DOWNLOADER. I did that once with the first expension for BF2 (which I rarelly used) but I hated to have to redownload it all one time when I formatted and re-installed Windows from scratch.
Is theer a way I can backup my download so I don't have to redownload it everytime I want to do an install on my machine? If not, I'll simply go buy it in a store then.|TG|drjones666

The downloaded files are kept in a cache directory in your EA downloader Folder. Find the files and burn them on a DVD.

I just ordered as well, and it seems BF2142 doens't show up in my EA downloader window. I had to go to work, so I cant check to see if it's been updated, but I have a strange feeling something got botched up in the process. Good luck getting a refund.

Shafik, I had to exit and restart my EA Downlaoder in order to see BF2142 after I ordered it. You might have to do the same...

Re: If I purchase online? Can I backup my copy?
Logged out, logged back in, quit, restarted twice. Nothing. Again, maybe I'm just freakin out, and it takes a couple of minutes to update. It could be there right now, for all I know, I just can't check till I get home. My concern is that once again, I was forced to lie about my country when I ordered, but it worked flawlessly with Armored Fury and Euro Forces. We'll see.
Wanted to get EAD on this pc to check my account, but I can't seem to connect from here. Can anyone confirm the EA Downloader page is down? http://downloader.ea.com.Last edited by Shafik; 10-19-2006 at 09:20 PM.
