Map thoughts
What are everybody's thoughts on the maps in 2142?
For those who have heard my POE Fallen lovefests on TeamSpeak, it should come as no surprise that I really like maps which force fights away from the flags. One of the things I never really liked much about BF2 was how the stock maps encouraged people to do 90% of the fighting in the immediate areas of the flags, and the rest of the map ended up as just space you were driving or walking through. What I love about POE's Fallen and Spies Like Us is that it puts the entire map into play. I'm getting a similar sense from the 2142 maps; I like the scale. There's a sense of closeness that makes each map seem like one big battle, rather than half a dozen smaller battles. |

Re: Map thoughts
they kept the number of flags to a minimun in most cases which is a good thing. Once you play belgrade or berlin, you might not want to play anything else lol. Actualy, right now, my fav map is camp of gibraltar. It really gives the feel of "last line of defense"

Re: Map thoughts
conquest has 5 "infantry maps" I think they may have one walker per side butt hats it. Tunis harbor, Camp of Gibraltar, Berlin, Belgrade, and Cerebre Landing are all very infantry heavy.
