Rank Restriction?

I noticed the server had the rank restriction on. I wasn't sure if it's suppose to be on or off, but at the moment I can't play on the server because of it.

I just tried to get on the server and I constantly get the message ERROR nothing else just ERROR..

Someone on team speak mentioned it may be this Rank Restriction causing it.

I tried during three different maps and same result ERROR......

any ideas ??

I think everytime the server crashes it resets the rank restriction. The message says "This is a rank restricted server.Players above the rank of Sergeant Gold cannot join this server". Sucks for me because I'm one rank above that.

Yep, seems to be a problem that the host has to fix :/

Yeah, I noticed this turning itself back on after a restart as well. I think it's something Hypernia set up and/or a problem with 2142CC. There are a number of settings that revert themselves back to something other than what the profile has set after a server crash. I'm not sure why this is happening, but it's annoying to say the least.

The problem is not on Hypernia's end. It is not something they set. Other servers they host do not have this problem. I noticed that 2142CC has a check mark on it's server setting page that needs to be unchecked. The forum on 2142CC.com that I read had a reply from one of the programmers that said all worked well for them from their test system. I guess they are checking into it.

There is a command-line flag in 2142CC that can force this setting. It ONLY gets re-set when 2142CC re-starts (during a reboot) and is not manually re-set when the server gets restarted.
