Game Centers in Houston with BF2142?

Posted this in the technical support forum by accident.

I am on a week long work assignment down in Houston and are getting worried that I will suffer bad BF2142 withdrawal. Is there any place where you can play bf2142 in Houston, like an online gaming center?

If not I might even try to run it on my laptop with a 5200 Go 64MB graphics card.

Ideas?

I actually found a couple of places. I think it might actually be possible to play this week.

This site was great.

Most of the computer cafe type places in my section of town (Southwest) folded, but there should be places elsewhere.

Re: Game Centers in Houston with BF2142?

I found a place called B-Gaming, They would not get it until later this week so I downloaded it from EA-Downloader. It took 2 hours so only had time to play for 30 min. They also had no mics so no VOIP, bringing my headset today and the game is allready installed so going to get more play time tonight.

I have now actually realised a benefit from being on business trip, I can play without having any interuption from my wife.

The gaming centers should start catering to business travellers, its just so boring to stay at hotels and watch TV.

If you have a lot of business trips that is when you invest in a new high-powered portable desktop (laptop) that is designed for gaming, not portability and battery life. Then all you need is a place with a decent internet connection, since most hotels' suck.

I actually bought a Hawking Hi-gain directional antenna when I was stuck in a hotel for 6 months (for work). It made things much better.

That's why i said most hotels Doesn't matter if its wired or wireless, many just have horrible connection speed, as if the whole building is sharing a DSL line
