Re: Away Bonus
Played Monday, skipped Tuesday, played tonight. After my first round I got an away bonus of 8, after the second I got 7. Didn't play a third.

Re: Away Bonus
I could not quiet figure out how many points I accumulated during my week away. My first game I believe I received 10? away bonus points then the next round some other number. Hmmm.

Re: Away Bonus
I think away points just gives you the average score you get in a day (maybe calculated by your Score Per Minute stats?) then multiplies it by the number of days you were away.
OR
It takes a percentage of how many points you got in the rounds you play when you start playing again (i.e.: you got 50 at the end of the round so you get 25 away points type thing)
I didn't play for one day and I got 33 away points (in the round I got 60ish points, and like 600 career points from some ribbon), so I'm not sure how it really is calculated.

Re: Away Bonus
I think it's a percentage of your round score. The percentage is calculated from the number of days you've been away. I've received away points over multiple rounds after missing a day or two. It's always lower than my round score and seems to get smaller the more games I play.

Away Bonus - what a rip!
So after a week of not playing, I finished a round and was treated with a massive bonus of . . . 7 points. I could have gotten that in ten minutes of gaming at the outside.

Re: Away Bonus - what a rip!
I think it keeps going for future games as well. I didn't play for 3-4 days and got an away bonus for 4-5 hours worth of games.

what are away points?
I've noticed in NS that i keep getting away points. I was wondering what they are and how i get them. some games i'll get 40 career points with 20 away points giving me 60 total. I'd like to know what they are so i can start getting them purposely. thanks

You can find the answer here:

I guess I can't link that, so replace the "#"s with "/"s.Last edited by jepzilla; 03-09-2007 at 03:46 PM. Reason: Fixing link

Re: Away Bonus
I just got back from 13 days of not playing and every round I played I got at least 15 away points. I don't know how long this is going to keep up but it is good while it lasts. Now for every three or four games I play I get points for one extra one. Better than nothing.
