I've played at least one round where I sat on the landing deck and watched enemy missiles fly past, just narrowly missing our titan. If I'd been smarter, I would have watched our titan's health to see if we were still taking damage.

Someone else noticed, eh? The anti-Titan missiles fly a semi-ballistic trajectory, before levelling out and heading straight for your Titan. You can park your Titan in such a way that they'll fly right over. I'm not 100% sure this actually saves your shields, but I commanded a round on a pub server once where we were down 3 to 2 silos for most of the game, but our shields dropped at about the same rate (I had positioned the Titan to see what would happen).

Other things I want to try: parking your Titan behind the other team's so that all missiles hit it instead of yours.

A hostage situation with the enemy titan? That would be funny.

DICE could be lying, but one of the game tips says not to place your titan over a silo because the missile WILL hit your titan, even if it is meant for the enemy.
