Isn't z the default for prone?

Yea, it is, but for whatever reason it stopped working in 2142. Works fine when typing ingame chat and everything else, but it just stopped working one day and doesn't want to rebind itself.

have you tried renaming (I say rename incase it doesn't work) your .con file to see if BF2142 will recreate the default one for you? Maybe then the Z prone will start working again.
