Hi Jeffro! You should read the primer, rules and SOP's!
If you like what TG is about, you should consider putting a TG tag before your name, so we can all know you're interested in teamwork and tactical gaming, not just random riff-raff. :^)

Welcome! It should be said that we are not a clan, but a community of like-minded players. YOu've done the hardest step which is just joining up on the forums. Stick around and I think you will find TG has a place in all your multiplayer games!

Re: Love the server
Welcome!! I wish I had found TG sooner. I played on a TG server for the first time a couple of months ago and was hooked

Re: Love the server
I'm new here as well, but is it really that easy?
I love playing on the TG servers, and join the TG squads whenever I can find a spot. I'm going to dig my old headset out and get my voice comms working, too... its always a downer being the only squad member who can't talk!
Anyway, love the server, too. See ya in the game!

Re: Love the server
Must say that TG did an exceptional job on the POE2 server (admin job + teamwork feeling). I've only played 2142 for about a week, and must say that I've not really felt the same on 2142...perhaps that will come with time.

Re: Love the server
Your not mistaken. I've noticed this as well. Partly it is the nature of having a ranked server which we 1. can't run as many automated admin scripts on and 2. which generates plenty of non-tg pubbies visiting. BF2 and POE2 it was pretty easy to run an unranked server which we could more tightly control since unlocks were generally pointless. Having to obey the laws of a ranked server and the pressure of generating points has had a negative impact on the conduct of most players usually those that don't know TG at all.
Hopefully with time we will gain more control over the ranked server and may have an unranked server for the TG faithful to play on regularly.|TG-12th| SHINER

Re: Love the server
You are both correct Dav, and Shiner. Our automated scripts are on the way though. We will have the same control as we did for POE. Yes the play is a little soppy, especially when there is no admin on. But that is why all of the TG guys and gals squad up, because it's nice knowing the guy who has your back is playing as a TEAM!!!. Now I prefer a pure TG squad as much as the next, but we really have to make an effort to start Squad Leading and incorporting the pubbies...edjumcaten' if you will. Other wise we will have noone to blame but ourselves.

Re: Love the server
Go back to the oldest threads of PoE2 and you'll find complaints about teamwork, a lowered standard of play, and rampant pubbies. In all fairness that was a game that already included the scripts, had an established core of TG players, and was unranked.

Re: Love the server
I'm glad I'm not the only one that has noticed this. Yesterday I was playing and ppl (medics) were literally stepping on my corpse, with no intention to revive me.... no team play whatsoever, only point whores….sad. I’m not a supporting member yet, but you're right Experiment626, I really enjoy password nights where you can rely on the guys behind you will at least make an effort to team play.
Hope to see you all on the battlefield…..
