    Interest in unranked play..?

    Anyone have any interest in gathering for some unranked TG goodness some night? Get away from some of the ranked mayhem and try out some tried & true TG teamwork. We've been playing for a few weeks now and should have a fairly decent collection of unlocks now, so we should have the toys we need to play a few decent rounds.

    Just trying to see if there is any interest before we try to work out the details..

    I think it would be great to have an unranked night. This would sort of take the place of a 2142 password night as I doubt we'd have problems with random players on a non-ranked server. It should give the TGers a chance to play 2142 together for TG goodness.

    I'd be up for it. I still need a few more unlocks to be satisfied, but I have enough to enjoy a largely pubbie-free night.

    Ya, weekly would be good.

    I'm having a hard time when the pubbie's are ruling the game on our server.

    It's sad that the points which promote squad/team play is probably what's going to kill it for TG, since without the auto player kick script, auto squad script and various map changes, like bleed on all maps, it makes our server no better than any other for playing.

    I think it is about time for unranked play. I'm pretty happy with my current unlocks (but part of that is the field unlocks I can get... and I assume those won't be available). Have we thought about any modification (longer ticket times) etc?

    I don't know if we should do more than once per week as we still have many people working on unlocks and we want to continue to keep our servers packed.

    I have plenty of unlocks and am getting at the point of 'I don't know what to unlock now'. I'd be up for a weekly private night (we dont' even really need to make it a password night). However, it will suck if you can't use field upgrades. I wouldn't see why not?

    Now it's down to what time, how many people, and what game mode? Tuesday or Wednesday works best for me. We may need to run a 16 or 32 player map, depending on how many come. I personally prefer conquest, but I think it would be nice if we mixed it up and played some conquest and titan. If it's too much of a hassle to change the server game mode while playing...maybe we can switch off weeks.

    Are you suggesting that so the TGers that still need unlocks can have a full TG ranked server to play on rather than having to go elsewhere because the majority of TG is on the unranked server and the TG ranked server hasn't been 'seeded'?

    I would love a unranked TG server. The ranked servers are realy sad to play on atm. With all the rankchasers teamplay is almost zero.
    I miss the TG gameplay like in POE , and i think a unranked server will give us the good TG fun again ;-)
