I've had fun defending the same flag the whole round and also flag hopping so I could go either way. It's important to give attack/defend orders so you get squad points which leads to field upgrades.

    Re: Learn TG Squad(s) Pledge

Prime example of LTG bringing in quality players:

    From pfeil2281:

"Instead of struggling to find the rare soldier interested in working as a team in one of the many other public servers, I plan to spend my time on TG. Last evening, I was fortunate enough to play a few more rounds with a LEARN TG squad and had more fun in those few hours than I have anywhere else. Furthermore, I ended up with three consecutive personal best rounds with this group. In fact, during one round, I actually earned over 50 points just supporting my fellow squad members."

Who is now a Supporting Member!

"After spending some more time browsing the forums and different sites associated with TG, I decided this is defiantly the place for me and became a Supporting Member."

    LTG works!

Yes, Learn TG squads are a must on the public server whenever possible. If you see none on one side, don't hesitate to make one, even if you haven't SLed before. You know how TG works and how to play as a team, that's all that matters, just ask the CO what to do.

From a new player, Gillespie -

Just got done with a marathon session of 2142, part of which was spent with a LEARN TG squad; great fun. I'll definitely be frequenting the TG servers more than any others.

    Hope to see y'all in-game.

Once again, Learn TG squads are saving the world and leading the way! Is there anything they can't do?

Once I get into the thick of things (I'm still rather new to the game) I'll consider representing the |TG| tags and starting up LTG squads.

As for now, still need a bit more confidence before walking on my own, so to speak.

I played for the first time last night, but the LearnTG squad was full... next time I'm on, I'll try to get in one... looking forward to getting my bearings in 2142.

    @ Yoyi
You're not the only one, I'm trying to manage as well. But I do find Commander easier, because I don't have to worry about getting shot at everytime I give a command.

back on topic... I had a great time last night in a squad with Xeil SL'ing and a couple other guys wearing the |TG| tag... (forget who exactly.. sorry). Anyway - It's so great to be able to ask the 'stupid' questions, and just get answers back without attitude. I feel like I'm over the hump now and will probably be starting LEARN TG squads when ever I get on 2142 now....

I pledge to always create a LearnTG squad, even if one already exists.

    Re: Learn TG Squad(s) Pledge

I think this is a great idea. When I first saw the Learn TG squad in game I had a feeling this is the kinda thing it was about, but wasnt sure.

Might be worth adding to the scroll of automessages one that encourages newbs like myself to join the squad. Some might think the squads are for TG members only, which would defeat the purpose of this great idea.

    Re: Learn TG Squad(s) Pledge

A message like "TG squads open to all players" would work. The first time I saw a Learn TG squad on POE2 I thought there was some kind of private lessons going on.
