Re: Team Switching between maps

On a less serious note can we get a script that AutoBans players for whining about the 60 second start timer...

I'm gettting tired of typing out responses to the children.

I second that.

I agree. If we have more than 1 round per map, team switching must be enabled. Nothing worse than knowing your butt will be handed to you two times in a row the moment a map loads

Re: Team Switching between maps

I'd like to see the same team switching settings on the titan server too.

On another note, I am very definitely a fan of this on the Conquest server more so than ever. One thing that it is great for is getting TG members to re-assess squads and break them up a bit to get more new players involved with LEARN TG squads.

By mixing up the squads, we indirectly prevent the clustering of TG members into one uber squad and spread the teamwork around a lot more. This past Sat night was a prime example of this.
Breaking up the squads from team switching is pretty much the reason I'd want that setting on. Although, reminding everybody to split up with some Learn TG squads is just as effective.

Re: Team Switching between maps

i dont mind. One round just goes too fast, so switch sides, start a squad and play from the other side....no big deal. It would be nice if it kept squads sometimes but its not that big a deal imo.

I have to go back and say it's growing on me as well.

It would be nice if it could switch some people from the sides. Just switching sides and keeping all the people can help with unbalance, but it doesn't do anything to fix a skill unbalance.

I approve. Everyone can carry on with what they were doing. Move along.

Well if it has gone from being 2+ mins to 60 seconds...boo. 60 seconds isn't enough to plan out much of a action plan for a squad. If people want to complain about an extra min or so of planning and outfitting, then I'm sure they can find things to do while they wait instead of complaining to everyone on the server.

The team switching is very nice. It helps keep us on our feet instead of droning through several rounds on the same side with the same mates.

Re: Team Switching between maps

I like the team switching quite alot. Gives you a different perspective on every game. Assault, deffend, etc. What I usually do when I get into a squad I like is to just wait for it to be formed and jump in again, but if I am asked to leave to make room for new people I would gladly look for another. While I have played here I have been in 0 (zero) bad squads, so it wouldn't be a biggie.

Hehe the only thing is I like the PAC weapons more for some reason ( I think is because they are not as noisy ) I play better with them anyhow.....

Re: Team Switching between maps

I am much better with the PAC assault. It doesn't recoil as much on single shot so I am able to fire at almost the speed of burst but with the accuracy of single shot. The EU recoils badly and requires a little more work.

If you're playing and you think the teams are unbalanced, I invite you to switch sides with your squad at the beginning of the next round (you can contact an admin on TeamSpeak to help with this).

That would help alot when one team is just getting pounded non-stop

Unfortunately I suck, so I would be bringing my suck with me. As an average player I don't think I would sway anything, but I understand your point. Somehow, I'm always on the losing team, though.

Re: Team Switching between maps

That's because your just 'average' and bring nothing to the team, Dirty. Your team needs winners! People that will make a difference But some maps dictate who is the winner - doesn't matter how skilled your side may or may not be.
