    Team Switching between maps

I'm not certain what this mode is, but the TG server is doing this tonight. You are switched teams after every map and all squads are reset.

Personally, I find this highly annoying. Rounds are just not long enough to go through the hassle of squading up every round. A new squad every round just makes for difficult and disconnected play. Also all my kit seems to be reset as well.

I agree, I like the switching and I think new squads each round gives a good chance to get some new squads going.

speaking of oddities on TG server, tonight, i played a bit before dinner, joined charlie squad, couldnt leave by clicking the leave icon, and saw that for some reason, charlie squad had 7/6 people.
    Anyone catch this?

Regarding changing teams, i'm opposed to it as well. I find that when I log on, it takes a while for everyone to jump in, causing a bit of lag in the beginnings of a round. trying to set up my kits and join a squad while this is going on is highly frustrating.
In regards to being on the end of an assault spanking, i think that def. depends on the map. certain ones are highly favoring certain teams...

That's an old BF2 bug. It usually clears up on map change or if you restart the game.

    P.S. I like team switching.

I do find it a little annoying, but I'd rather have the switching. I like the opportunity to try things from both sides.

the switching keeps the rounds from a certin side awalys wining and allows people to play with everyone

I don't mind the team-switching, but is there any way we can mix up the map order a bit? It seems like a lot of the slaughter-fest maps come back-to-back. I imagine the vehicle heavy maps come in a group too, but I've never gotten that far before a server crash or getting burned out by 8 straight rounds of zerg rushes.

Team switching isn't really bad once in a while, unless...It was on tuesday night's Belgrade map. I got into this squad, everybody seem nice and cooperative until the SL turned to be a spawn camping jerk. To my horror, the squaddies all work with him. I told him to get out of the UCB but he told me he'll do whatever he want. So, I broke some rules too, I destroyed mys squad' beacon, shot the SL on his back hand ditched the squad. Too bad I couldn't reach the admin to report.

I like the side switching. It's nice to see what it's like attacking from the other side of the map. The squad disbands is a little crappy but I also like the mix up there. If the squads could remain the same for a map, that would be nice. Then when the map changes the squads get disbanded so players can mix and mingle.

    Re: Team Switching between maps

I originally liked the team switching, but it wore on me quickly until it became an annoyance more than anything. I like being in a squad, good or bad, and learning how they work over a few maps rather than being switched all the time.

The infantry map overkills is a problem. For some reason the infantry maps have those choke points that if the team controls properly, the opposing team has no chance. I spent half a round on the Berlin map just spamming grenades with a squad over the snow wall to keep the opposing team away from the first flag, until I got bored of it.

What if we increased the counter back to 2 minutes in order to allow squads to set up, take care of field upgrades, plan, etc.?

I'd be for that. I need about that time to get settled in and get ready for the next round.

I don't want this to sound like we are trying to please me. It sounds like most people like the team switching and that's fine.

I don't know about the extra wait time. I hate to say it, but I play the wait game at the start, and I think most other people do as well. See who will create a squad and jump into that squad.

    Re: Team Switching between maps

No matter what, I hate being on the same side of the map twice in a row, so the options would be to go back to 1 round maps, or lose the squads on teamswitch.
