LOL I've always left my tag on. I might be the only SL on Dog's Dogtag that is actually issuing orders and defending flags while knifing it out.

When I was on the knife server I still gave orders but I think I am the only one who followed them. It seems that everyone is content to meet in the middle and start chopping. No one seemed to notice there were even flags on the map. Between the knife kills and the never ending supply of people for me to revive I got a ton of points. I can only handle it for about one round though before it gets old.

I have over this amount and do not have the unlock knife. I think you need the badge as well.

Alright then do I need to "equip" the knife or is it an automatic reskin?

I haven't seen anything in the inventory screen. I have 69 unique dogtags.

I got mine last week it's an automatic reskin. It looks a lot more vicous than the normal knife.
About the knife only servers. They are against the ROE. EA has been on a war path against them recently since their blunder in making an admin on one of them supreme commander (brad1992). They've wiped a few people high in knife kills already for playing on them so be careful if you go to them.

Thanks for the info. So, why don't I have the knife then?

I still don't believe it's JUST the amount of unique dog tags. I've had well over 50 unique for a while, it isn't an update issue.

Well to all of you, its not a "lengendary" knife, its called "The commander shank" it is longer, it has a wider kill range and it has a small tag hanging from the hilt. I, for one of very few in this comunity, have 448 dog tags, but i have 895 knife kills. I wonder who has more than me?

P.S. the name really has nothing to do with this knife, it may be called the comander shank but it doesnt matter even if youve never been a commander

It is agasit the rules to play on knife only or pistol only ranked severs. I belive they can call that stats padding to. Here is a quote from the battle feild rules.
"1.8 Players may not use or exploit game mechanisms to artificially boost their score ("stats padding") and Server administrators may not knowingly allow or encourage this activity on their servers.

This would include but not limited to:
§ Knife- Pistol-Revive
§ Knife-Pistol only Servers
§ Knife only Servers
§ High Points Servers
§ Infantry only Servers
§ No Artillery or Armour Servers
§ Using Vehicles removed from battlefield for purposes of artificially inflating points
§ Turning boats upside down and repairing
§ Glitching inside buildings.
§ Modifying game files for vehicles and weapons.
§ Items not included in this list would be up to EA & DICE to interpret. "

EA actually has ROE on their own forums I think, I think thats where they are from.
Still, you dont need any of those to go pointfarming, just go medic on karkand and you're a 4 star generals in a few days.
