I see that the titan server has been changed to "Inf Maps" conquest mode.

Is this permanent or a test?

It is a temporary arrangement to test how large infantry maps play with a lower player count.

The Titan server is empty 90% of the time and is a waste of resources if it is. This configuration allows players to get an infantry-only fix without the ridiculous fragfest on a 64 player server.

You'll notice the infantry server is capped at 32 players, but still runs 64 player maps. This will hopefully allow for more tactical movement and not just choke people in at the assaulted CP.

I know some people love Titan mode, but if we can't populate a server with it, then maybe we need to wait until the patch.

If people don't like it, then we'll look at other options. Please post your opinions here. We'll be gauging responses and working it out from there.

Tonight I played Cerbere Landing, Minsk, Suez Canal, Camp Gibraltar and Belgrade. I'm happy to report that the reduction in players has made for a better game and TG experience. I was able to move and move my squads around the maps at a steadier pace which allowed for a bit more planning. Also the reduction allowed choke points not to be one sided as say Camp G and Minsk have been in the past. My squads broke through on all the choke points!

Of note on Camp Gibraltar and Cerbere Landing it was less of a frag fest and I was able to move my squad without dying every minute which was the case before the player reduction.

I am really looking forward to checking out the changes tonight. I haven't been able to log into the game since tuesday and I am having some serious cravings.
