Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying I don't appreciate the reserved slot system...nor the fact that I don't have to bother an admin even though it may take longer. But why not at least try increasing the 'buffer' slots just to see how it works? Maybe it will...maybe it won't.

I never have much trouble logging in... I will get the server full message then turn around and hit the server again... and usually get in on second try.. but I have seen it go to a third try occasionally but I dont think I have seen a fourth try yet... (dangit. I bet I just jinxed myself)

The more reserved slots we keep the more random unsupporting members will be exposed to the less than ideal kickmessage. It is a matter of balancing the negatives with the positives on this one. For christmas this year I wish Dice implements a custom kickmessage that works without punkbuster......

Actually it is true. Sometimes the script just doesn't seem to work, and requires logging onto TS and telling the admin to make room on the server for a SM.

I didn't want to make a new thread about this, but do we need the script now with patch 1.10? I just tried joining another server that had reserved slots and got the message "Be aware that you are joning a server with reserved slots and may be kicked to make room for a reserved member". It sounds like the reserved member system now works the way we want our script to work.

it works very quickly for me..and every time..i have never had to wait more than 30 seconds before it lets me on...

i just wish we got to pick who gets dumped..!

I know its a old thread, but do SMs still get kicked to make room for another SM when a round first begins? That happened to me the other day ago, couldn't reconnect for about 2 mins.. And yes PID is correct in profile

No they don't. Or at least not by intention. When you get kicked do you get the Punkbuster message stating you have been kicked for another supporting member?

If not, could it be that you are seeing the stuck in squad bug and thereby you are kicked for not joining a squad?

What is the profileid you have added in the controlpanel here at TG and what is the soldiername you use ingame?

Is the reserved slot system working properly on the conquest server? It usually takes 2-3 clicks before I get in, but today I can't get in at all.
