Battlefield 2142 Conquest Server Patch v1.05

Battlfield2142.com announces patch 1.05 for Battlefield 2142. Our Conquest (Virginia) server should be getting patched for us shortly. The process is underway so it may already be patched.

If someone more readily available can verify that it's updated, post it here. But it's coming.

I just checked and the Conquest server appears to have been updated to the new patch, as of 3:25 PM EST.

Yeah, that's about all you can do. But there's always PoE2, the Project Reality mod and even BF2! Plenty of stuff to spend a day playing while EA fixes whatever it is that apparently needs to get fixed.

Heh, I installed the patch and everything seems to be working fine, apart from a separate incident (but knowing EA, who knows?) whereby Windows seems to be muted despite the volume controls all looking like they're good. Just my luck.

Jesus Christ... man, nevermind. I'm staying away from BF2142 until this patch thing settles down. I'm not screwing my machine up with "quality" EA/Dice patchmanship. :P

We shouldn't have to do this. Unfortunately, we [me included] keep letting EA/DICE pull this kind of crap off.

Yeah, we shouldn't have to deal with this. But you can either spend the time complaining or playing a different game. Personally, I'd rather just play a different game. The only way to stop this type of stuff is to vote with your pocketbook. Unfortunately that's tough because most people want to play the game, buggy or not.

Playing a different game means nothing now, because I already purchased the product. Being an owner of this software, I have every right to complain when EA/DICE warrant it

Yeah, EA already has our money. There's no monthly subscription to them.....

The only subscription I have for this game is TG, lol
So...then...if it becomes so bad we stop playing then we stop supporting TG :P
