Battlefield 2142 Titan Server Patch Status

Due to the problems reported with Titan mode, our Titan server will remain un-patched. If you don't care about playing Titan mode, feel free to patch up to 1.05 for the conquest server.

This, of course, assuming there are no major issues with Conquest.

In any case. If you only play Titan, or require immediate Titan play, don't patch.

So I'm going to go ahead and install the 1.05 patch for your machines.

So start looking at your video drivers.

Ah, I stand corrected, I'm also using 91.47

As of now, it runs fine. But it seems I'm having an issue with VoiP in game, but that may not be due to the patch. I'm investigating now.

hmmmm ive been running the 6.11's and havent crashed yet,, i only play conquest though that may be why. everything seems to be running smooth.

That is such BS. They blame the video card drivers when they've been out for a year?!?! I'd understand if the damn drivers were just released and they didn't have time to test them, but they're talking about a year!

This crap is what pisses me off about EA/DICE.

It is obviously EA/DICE's fault when BOTH ATI and Nvidia drivers, as EA/DICE claims, causes the CTD.

I downloaded the patch and it's working OK. Though I'm still getting some crashes but I had that before I patched. Any funny business and I will post.

The supposed work around for the Titan problem is to set the server up so there is only 1 round per map. I love the team play of the conquest server, I wish we could get the Titan server as popular. I bet if every member played on the Titan server for 2 weeks, it would be at the top of everyones favorites list.
