Has anyone else had this problem where you have more then enough points to rank up but it wont let you?

i have about 700 points over the amount that was needed for my last rank up and never got it, was told today that i have to rank up another time to get them

Anytime you get enough points to rank up but don't get the rank right away occurs whenever you go over the requirements at the END of a round, from squad bonus, commander bonus, that kind of thing. The only solution is to just logout for a bit, come back in the game, join a server and get some points. It should give you the promotion during that round. If it doesn't you'll have to close the game and try again. It's annoying, but it's what we have to deal with.

I found joining a server which you have never played on and earning two or more points seems to fix the glitch.

You'll need to wait Calun, that has been my problem for the last 5 ranks. It'll eventually rank you up. I'm thinking that the stat server and the game itself doesn't always update properly. Or you could try Pfeil's suggestion, sometimes that works as well.

Yesterday I gained around 200 points on Titan maps (and it showed me gaining the points)...when I joined TG conquest server, though, my total points had lost the 200 I gained from Titan. I hope they reappear later...they'd give me my next rank.

Something similar happened to me. I got enough points for my next rank and my point scale shifted but my rank didn't change. I also didn't get an unlock and it stopped displaying my number out of 40.
