Welcome to TG! It sounds like you may be looking for a more structured squad style of environment. If so then take a look at the Irregulars. You can find the links in my signature. The Irregs do support BF2142 although our events and practices are centered on BF2 and it's mods.

Also thanks for chipping in with the supporting membership. TG is membership driven so without the SM's Apophis wouldn't have anything to do

Without SM's it would be all out of Apo's pocket, which would be very sad.

Welcome and thanks for supporting this great community!

Also check out POE password night on Saturday. I am looking forward to have one more team player join this awesome group.

One warning the teamplay effect may cause you to play much more than you would without TG. I am still playing battlefield more than 1 year after release and still play a couple of hours everyweek. I dont care about the points and I dont need levels. But the teamplay brings me back, and of course the great people that belong the the 33rd.....

Welcome and thanks for becoming an SM. If you are even just semi-active there are a collection of in-house squads offered here at TG for supporting members.

Squads don't tend to impact day-day play, but do give you a sub-community and some rivalry during internal and external scrims. To find out more about squads visit:

OOOO me likes this! I am a heavy infantry guy. Assault/Recon unlocks. With a small mix of Engi/SUpport thrown in. What sub-community needs someone with Defib/Healer/Killer?

Thanks,

p.s. I have BF2 with special forces, but havent played it since I got 2142! So who needs a 2142 member?

Sub-Community note.

Upon reading about them, it seems like 1st Mechanized Infantry or the 7th would be a good fit for me?

What do I need to do?

I think the 1st sticks mostly to BF2 and that line, haven't seen any but Sassy on 2142. Same with the 7th, they're a pretty old squad whose members are approaching retirement I would strongly suggest the 9th which seems dedicated to 2142 so far. If your planning on diversifying, then I would check out the irregulars, 33rd *cough*biased*cough*, or the 5th. I think they are still...in the market as it were. Not that i want to disuade you from either or, just some of the in house divisions are more activly recruiting than others. Hope that helps.

Using capital "i" instead of pipe characters will visually look exactly the same as using pipe characters and there won't be any weird display bug in the game.

welcome to TG! You'll see, it's addictive here. Oh, and fun! ;-)

cheers!
