Your thoughts on bunnyhop?

As topic, what do you think about it? Some servers frown upon it, some don't care... Personally I think it's a fair tactic and I don't mind it... What do you guys think?

Re: Your thoughts on bunnyhop?

Bunnyhopping é proibido em todos nossos jogos.

It will get you banned if you make it a habit.

Ever since they changed it so you cant shoot while in the air, I dont care either. (That was back in BF2)

But I try to remember not too if that is the server rules.

Edit: And yes it is against TG server rules.

I wish they could have implemented a jump/pull up type move to get up onto boxes and things. The 6 foot jump is just so bizarre it's beyond words.

haha nice!

I don't use it though, but honestly I can't understand WHY it's considered to be unfair/lame etc.

I hate it. Jumping is for getting over obstacles, not pogoing like zebedee. Seeing it on the TG servers annoys me so much I often drop.

Re: Your thoughts on bunnyhop?

Hate bunny hoppers, no matter what game it is.

And see it happen on TG servers makes me go after the guy extra hard the next time around, plus I'll even report him/her. On top of that, I usually pump a full mag into them just to make sure they are truly dead.

Re: Your thoughts on bunnyhop?

I frown on bunnyhopping because it's not just annoying, but it's just not realistic. Jumping around to avoid bullets is quite counter intuitive, seeing how you still have the same surface area as compared to being on the ground. In addition, you can't return fire while jumping in BF2/BF2142, so that makes matters even worse.
I'm pretty sure I've done my fair share of dolphin-diving for cover, but that's different. At least I'm trying not to get shot by getting behind something bullets won't penetrate (unless it's a fence), but bunnyhopping is just not something I think is practical or effective. Bunnyhoppers should hop themselves out of our servers, or I'll give them the shotgun treatment (in game, at least).

This isn't even worth discussing here. It's against the rules. If you don't like the rules, play somewhere else.
