Re: seeding the titan server
Ah, so that's the little blip on the game monitor stats. I would have joined but I was out tonight. I seeded a week or two ago with three other players and we never got a game going after at least an hour. Either TG players don't like titan or the server hasn't made a name for itself.

Re: seeding the titan server
Well, seeding does work, I just saw that for myself. Got on the titan server a couple hours ago, and it was just me and Fehmart, jepzilla, Master_Editor, and few others, and we just messed around for awhile. I tried to freefall from 60000, but only made 8 minutes before the match started, a couple maps later, we finally got a real game going, and when I just left, the server was close to brimming. COing was a blast, even without a mic, and having cooperative squads that take the initiative is a great help. So, it may take a while, but seeding pays off.

Re: seeding the titan server
I think Titan would be amazing if we could organize a weekly Titan night. My difficulty with it is that it's so much more complex than Conquest, it's difficult to really have a good game without a bunch of good squads and a decent CO. It's very demanding on teamwork and coordination abilities.

Re: seeding the titan server
I dunno. It feels a little bit like Conquest except that lots of kills doesn't ensure a win. You can die senselessly in Titan all you want but it's not a big impact to the team like in Conquest.
Some of the same formula applies. Capture silo, guard silo. It's just bigger maps and longer games. Maybe it's the lack of suitable terrain to have a front line that makes it more hectic. Or drop pods from titans that keep an onslaught of attackers on silos.
I still find it similar to Conquest with the added distraction of boarding the titan once the shields go down. I like it more because games are longer and close combat in the titan is crazy exciting. Or maybe that there aren't orbital strikes.

Re: seeding the titan server
Sure, capturing silos is a bit like Conquest, but you have the Titan to manage too. How many people do you want defending, how many assaulting? Plus, the Titan has drop pods so you can move it into a position where you can instantly deploy squads all over the map. A smart CO with disciplined squads could really cause a lot of havok. For example, you could deploy half squads onto silo defense and hold another squad in reserve on your Titan- when you detect the enemy advancing on a position, you can deploy your reserves, and bring other inactive squads back to the Titan while waiting for the next enemy push.
