seeding the titan server

If there are one or two people seeding the Titan server, perhaps the admins throw a few announcements up on the conquest server?? The rounds are short enough and the conquest server popular enough that we could sustain people switching over "after this round"...

And, you missed jepzilla freefalling for 15+ minutes after jumping out of his attack ship at 50,000ft. Just a couple minutes later and we were going to attempt a mid-air pickup in my transport ship. For the record, sound disappears at 20,000.

Hmmm... no sound at 20,000ft. The air must be too thin up there for sound to travel!

It would be neat to have a script on the conquest server that checks if there are players on the titan server. If there are less than required for a ranked game, it sends out a message to the conquest players.

I was just in your titan servers, it was pretty fun. About 20 people, so not a lot but I like to play in servers that are not so crowded. Hope to see you guys there sometime, titan rules

Hi guys,

i must be missing something, but I can only find the IP for the conquest server (in the BF2142s erver info thread).

Can someone drop in the IP for the Titan server too.

Not that I've managed to get the time for any game play at all for over a week

It should be found under the top menu - "Games" - "Server Status", but that list currently shows us hosting a Titan Ranked and a Titan Unranked server. Me thinks this page needs to be updated with the Conquest server.

Yeah, I was halfway to the ground when we got enough people for the round to start! Only another fifteen minutes of freefall.

We'll have to try the midair pickup again. Maybe this time from 10,000ft.

EDIT: Actually, I think the distances in 2142 are in meters. Maybe that was a 50km (30 mile) freefall?

I lucked out... the titan server was almost full last night when I got on. Saw TheFatKid, Voodoo, UltraBlue, and LuckyStrike on there to name a few.

Most times it's me and Sarc seeding the server for like 30 minutes before one person even joins. But it's fun just to dick around in an empty server sometimes. TG needs to start supporting the Titan, I tried to play Titan on other public servers and it just doesn't work. No one talks and/or no one listens, everyone runs off with empty transports, APCs, and buggies, which leaves me running my fat ass to the closest silo.

Did the 1.06 patch fix the issues with Titan not giving career points? I lost around 200 career points because the 1.05 'lost' them.

It fixed the issue with crashing to desktop at the end of a round.

Although it didn't fix the random CTD from placing a squad beacon that 1.05 introduced.

I had fun last night. The commanders were issuing orders and it seems that the squad were following them. Things will fall in place.
