Re: Titan Server
Those are the kinds of suggestions an SL needs during the game. It's not fun to hear complaints or backseat SL'ing. Some of the comments during the game was directed at titan game play and some of it was directed at my SL style. Overall, I felt more like my squad didn't like titan than TG players not liking the way I ran a squad.
Comments were directed at titan being the problem for lag and constant dying. I can't comment on lag because I wasn't having serious problems. Constant dying on titan attack is expected though. A well defended position will result in a lot of deaths. Maybe I should have gone back to silo capping instead of continuing a titan attack. The point is the squad members were subconsciously dictating that the SL should be making the game fun. It's no different than ordering a squad to defend an important silo/flag that has little activity. It sucks sometimes but it has to be done.

Re: Titan Server
I don't know. It's a videogame to me, so I'll happily run into a deathtrap repeatedly if ordered; after all, I'll respawn in 12 seconds provided I'm not magically-revived of my mortal injuries.
The main thing is to give orders. Even if they're bad orders, give orders. Even if you're losing badly, the game can be made fun by a sense of purpose and direction given by a vocal squad leader. Have a plan. Have a good plan. Have a crap plan. Just have some sort of plan. The only wrong decision is INDECISION. If someone's giving you backseat SL'ing or complaining about something, give them a quick explanation then drive on.
If the dude doesn't like it, he'll leave.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Blah blah blah.

Re: Titan Server
Nevermind, horrible question, I should look for the "connect to ip" button next time.
