All righty, thanks for the info. At 304kbps for PRM that was my fastest ever mod download. Being a SM rocks

Re: *sigh* I just realized something...
My new favorite thing to do when I'm bored is joining a 16 player conquest server and just ravaging the noobs that play there. Had 5 gold stars in a row a couple days ago, rofl!

Thanks for the ideas, guys. I think I'll give that PRM a try.

Re: *sigh* I just realized something...
I'd also have to agree w/ Bommando & FatKid.
I loved (and still love) PoE2 but the main reason why I liked it so much was because so many TG'ers were on the server at all times - it's what made me become a supporting member actually!
While I do get bored it's because of the lack of teamwork on the server so I have started to SL a bit more and I've started to like it. The more TG'ers who step up and SL/command the better the server will be. I don't have a problem kicking people from my squad who don't follow orders also. A well oiled squad makes SL a pleasure.
In a nutshell I'm sticking with it. The more TG'ers who fill the slots the better the gameplay. That's what it's all about anyway, not weps or unlocks or rank. I'd be all for full 2142 unlocks if we could ever do that. Level the playing field I say; let the skills do the talking.

Re: *sigh* I just realized something...
Squad Leading opens your eyes to a whole different aspect of the game. It's understandable to get tired of running and gunning very quickly cause it's a lot of the same twitch reaction stuff over and over. But, as SL, there's so much stuff to be paying attention to and to be thinking about that it's hard to get bored. Tired of just atttacking/defending the same front line flags/silos? Then try being SL and lead a squad to attack/defend a back base and change things up that way. Once you get in the SL groove, you don't get bored as much as tired.
If you're still new to TG, I can say from my observation that from BF2, the people who tended to play SL or CO (i.e. - Santa, Bommando, Beatnik, Silver) have been the ones that have stuck around the longest. The same will probably hold for 2142, as well.
Plus, don't play so much that you burn out. I usually only play on weekends, just enough time for me to forget what I did last week and for the maps to seems slightly new to me

I don't go SL or Comm because I'm not comfortable using a mic, and won't do a good job in either role.
But then I'm not bored with 2142 either.2142: |TG-Irr| Silverfish

Re: *sigh* I just realized something...
Totally agree. Forget Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter, Rainbow Six Vegas or even Full Spectrum Warrior.
You want a tactical shooter? Be a SL. You'll never have to worry about pathfinding AI issues, your orders can be issued instantly with voice instead of clunky control schemes and battlefield conditions change constantly, keeping you on your toes. I love it - this is what keeps me coming back to the BF series.
Feel like playing an RTS? Get in the CO's hotseat and you'll have all the micromanagement you can handle. Not to mention the points bonuses you can get when your team wins.

Re: *sigh* I just realized something...
I finally tried CO last night, and it felt like a step back from BF2. The interface seemed slower and more frustrating. I kept zooming in and clicking to move the map, and nothing would happen. Other times I'd click the arty button then click on the map, and .......... nothing.
I'll try again, but I can't help but be a little soured to it.
