Re: New Beta Patch v1.10 info :
I'd say wait until there's an official announcement. I would say wait until it's available in our downloads section, but I'm afraid that's restricted to supporting members only.
I know I won't be updating until I get it from here...|TG-9th| Prophaniti

Re: New Beta Patch v1.10 info :
With BF2, I don't think that the beta patches were ranked...?

Yeah, update when the TG servers have been updated. Unless you want to play somewhere else...

Re: New Beta Patch v1.10 info :
Supposedly the PDS-1 is fixed in the patch, but it was not included in the beta patch notes.

Re: New Beta Patch v1.10 info :
This is a beta patch. Unlikely that we'll be hosting it, so download and install at your peril.

Re: New Beta Patch v1.10 info :
As I said before you can just back up your 1.06 folder and install the beta, muck around with it. Then rename some folders and play 1.06 to go on the TG servers. That's if you want to actually test 1.1 out first.

Re: New Beta Patch v1.10 info :
Well glad to see more fixes...does this mean we have to upgrade to this "beta" patch?

Re: New Beta Patch v1.10 info :
The thing is we/renters do not have any direct control of patching the ranked servers. It is the hosting/provider company that does this. This means you will not be able to play on the ranked servers anywhere with the betapatch.

Re: New Beta Patch v1.10 info :
No mention of the disappearing eplosives indicators? That's been around since BF2 and it appears to have gotten worse since then. I'd wager 25-50% of my mines don't show the warning indicators.
I've seen the red tag bug a couple times, too.

Re: New Beta Patch v1.10 info :
So, if it says Beta, does that mean they are still testing it, or have they just said "Ah, screw the Beta Testing, release it now"? And just for future reference, how do we know when the TG servers update? Is it when it is available in the downloads section or what?

Re: New Beta Patch v1.10 info :
Beta means it's in testing phase. Usually, TG does not participate in those things. We will also try to make an announcement when the server is updated, but the ranked server provider actually does the updates.. Usually it is immediate.
