Re: TG spoiled me
Heheheh, you're right, I've forgotten the pleasures of jihad runs. Ah, well, it's a small price to pay for what we get on the TG servers.

Re: TG spoiled me
I've been going on 64 player infantry servers and pretty much getting owned. My problem is I usually have a target, advance, take out the guys there, defend, or go to next target. On those crazy servers everyones is running around everywhere and general chaos ensues. People are coming in from all sides at all times.

Re: TG spoiled me
I dunno.. seems like alot of the tactics that I have learned on the TG servers.. alot of folks on these servers dont even use.. They are content with running headlong into the same chokepoint OVER AND OVER AND OVER again.. and dying over and over again... While I sneak around and capture backflags by myself.. next thing I know I have people inviting me to their squads and then we mop up the server...
I had to leave TG server last night just to get that last 200pts to get my Sgt of the Army rank.. So pubies server their purpose when it comes to getting that unlock... but It doesnt even compare to getting in a squad and meeting objectives and having challenging tactical play..SWTOR - Ashenhart - Sith Inquisitor

Re: TG spoiled me
Ya I played last night on the CQ server for the first time - I had a blast! Inadvertently, though, I got tagged as SL and am not very experienced there - could anyone tell me either how to hand it off to somebody, and also, how to deploy the squad beacon?
Thanks."I've been working since I was sixteen. I fought in two wars. Hell, I've killed people. I'm not saying that I didn't enjoy it..."

Re: TG spoiled me
There is a thread in Tactics on beacons i think. If you really want to hand off SL duties, just leave and come back into the squad. I would recommend holding on to SL and doing your best. I think if you have several TG guys in your squad, you'll find it a rewarding experience.

Re: TG spoiled me
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction - I think I understand how it works now.

Re: TG spoiled me
Exactly! Frustrating, isn't it? And a good majority of the folks are not on VOIP and ignore your voice and chat messages. I remember on one pub server seeing my squad scattered all over the map running in all different directions. Could have called the squad the Lone Wolves... i left shortly thereafter.

) you either go from invincible god to incredibly frustrated. I'm so used to people -not- being morons that I hop out of a tank to repair it and don't expect someone to steal it.
), so as soon as I have a good plot of time to play, I'll meet you all on the CQ server!
