just picked up the game
just wanted to let all y'all know i just bought BF2142 (early self-xmas present if ya will) and hope to be seein ya in game soon.. name will be something like

Shouldn't take that long to update.. Make sure you are using the same soldier that you have entered in the PID for.

but if i ever get tagged then it would look something like : |TG-1st|TGTonk
kinda dumb if u ask me... time to brainstorm for a better name if i get tagged... how do i get tagged? do i have to pass a test? and the game wont let me add -> | <- symbol in the clan box... sry.. FPS noob (even tho ive played em all..)powered by Windows 7

I think it just doesn't show up when you are typing it in. I believe it will appear in game.

Had a blast playing with ya last night!! You will get the hang of it soon. I had to smile a little (since I had done this too) when someone called for a medic.. and said Hey Tonk.. come over and heal me... and you said. "umm errr oooo I can do that, didnt realize I had that" Trust me it wont take long.. and never forget to ask me or Saj whats up.. we will be glad to help out.. just good clean killing fun!!

Yeah, I came from the WoW group too (though i've played on the TG NS and Dys Servers...just didn't join TG till WoW), after hearing Siulung, Tarenth, and Sajier talking about 2142, and it's not taken me too long to get the hang of it, so i'm sure you'll pick it up quickly enough. Only thing i can suggest is to make the most of those field upgrades. Their a great way for us mostly locked newbs to compete a bit more with those players who've got about everything unlocked.
