An Even Fight
I like winning just like everyone else. And I like playing with my TG brothers even more. I think there should be more of an effort to try and even up the teams. The games have been one sided blowouts for many rounds in a row the last week or so, and to no surprise the team with all the TG tags were the winners. I believe that win or lose, everyone would rather a close game then a blowout. So if you see most of the TGs on one side consider taking a TG with you and going over to the other side to even things up.

Re: An Even Fight
Yeah, maybe sending some of that TG teamplay will help even the odds a bit.

Re: An Even Fight
I have never been able to switch teams on TG's server. Otherwise, I would probably switch teams.

Ya, I was on the receiving end of a Camp Gibraltar spanking last night. I also agree, it's not so easy to change teams.

Re: An Even Fight
the server is most fun for me when i get into a TG led, primarily TG squad. I don't mind evening out the teams if I can still have that, but from my own, selfish perspective, I'd rather play with people i know use their VoiP well, play together, etc.

Re: An Even Fight
I was on the wrong end of it for about 5 rounds straight the other night. Is there any way to have the script autobalance those with TG tags between maps?

Re: An Even Fight
I have been noticing this as well and even posted something about it in the Irr forum. It usually seems this happens as it gets late in the night and many of the prime time TGrs have gone to bed but last night was different. Last night maybe due to the fact that many are doing Christmas festivities they are away and made it a bit lopsided. I know the admins are aware and were trying to mix it up a bit since I heard them on TS talking about it. Hopefully after the holidays this will even out a bit and when it gets lopsided maybe getting on TS and talk to admins about evening things up a bit.

Re: An Even Fight
Last night we had a blowout in Belgrade so for once I was on the winning side and I swapped teams to the losing team. Had a fun time with Fehmart trying to save the game.

Re: An Even Fight
The "problem" as far as I can tell, is the 2142 buddy list. I usually join using the buddy list, and I expect most other TGers do too. This will naturally tend to concentrate TGers on one team.

Re: An Even Fight
Does the buddy list try to get you on the same team? I've joined other servers using that when someone is playing a non-TG server and there has been definitely no guarantee I will be placed on the same team. Often it seems like the opposite.

Re: An Even Fight
good discussion.
Check out this link on how to set up teamspeak: http://www.tacticalgamer.com/battlef...guide-faq.html
The best way to make things more balance is by getting on teamspeak and talking to someone.
BTW, the best in-house squad for teamswitching and trying to make the teams more balanced is the 33rd. IMHO, very consistant.(PO3) Marcinko_R. (BF2 PR .509) Squad Member
(CPO) Marcinko_R. (BF2 PR .509) Squad Leader
