I R Back!
A new motherboard and an extra gig of RAM later, and IT'S ALIVE! I should be back up and running with you crazies later

As an aside, previously I had 768mb RAM, and recording with fraps plunged my framerate to 10fps from 40ish. Now that I have 1.5gb of RAM, will I be able to record video with it?
Tearing structurally-superfluous new behinds with high caliber weapons since 2006.

Re: I R Back!
I believe framerate and fraps are mostly linked with the speed your harddrive can persist(write) bytes. So a fast harddrive means more FPS when recording with fraps.
