I was slightly confused for a moment. I couldn't tell who was speaking in the video, whether it was Silver or the game. But then I noticed that he was a PAC and not an EU. How can that be? But then it dawned on me when Fehmart screamed: Silver does the voices for the EU guys for BF2142. Good job with that voice acting Silver.

It's nice to see a teamwork video of a Battlefield game for once. I'm somewhat disenchanted by the endless string of "pwner" videos. It also nice to hear someone as calm as Silver leading a squad with a loud obnoxious person like Fehmart into battle. Way to go, Silver. Way to go.

(it takes googlevideo about 1.5 hrs to process the uploaded video, then about 1 hr to populate the description & title in and a further 4 hrs for the tite/description to link into the search engine)
are you going to use 'BF2142 Squad VOIP Teamwork 3 - Recon vs Assets' or something lke that ?

Uh ill think of something and as this is really only attended for tg members a link will work. All that 5 hour thing is not really a problem.

It took 1.5 hours? What resolution was the video file when you uploaded it? I'll probly just do them 320 x 240. I don't think it'd look any better w/ a bigger res file, since Google Video is just going to chop it down anyways.

btw, I'm going to put mine up on Youtube as well (I'll still do Google Video, since it is what you prefer) just because that's where I keep my video reel.

and, I'd still like to know about what MAXx said.. what else is there besides FRAPS to use.. I don't really want to pay money for the full version, and the free version will only record 30 secs.

when he say process thats google processing the video. I think they view the vedio to make sure nothing explicit or illegal is showm.

I've managed to confuse everyone ! sorry
Let me clarify this

The time to upload to googlevideo depends on the size of the video but even with that I found upload speed to be slow
Then you have to add a title and a description, the video then goes to 'processing' status.
From then on you don't do anything.
The processing takes about 1.5 hrs (depending on queing videos). This processing converts your video to the google format, then the status is live.
When its live you can then watch it and email/post your friends the link
About 1 hr latter the title and description that you wrote will populate into the video viewing page.
About 4 hrs latter the title & description links into the googlevideo search facility and from then on anyone can search on key words and find your video

Ok, I've got one done!! It's from this past night (Jan 3rd, a little into the 4th). I went ahead and edited it tonight. I didn't take the time to export it and everything, but I'll do it tomorrow.

I don't suppose anyone is taking video requests? I was hoping that someone could make a video of them being CO. I have never seen the CO screen and have no idea how it works. I would love to learn to do it though
