Pub raiding
"Occasionally", when I'm slacking instead of grading papers or preparing lesson plans, I go pub raiding late at night. So, feel free to Buddy List me if you play late at night sometimes, and want to beat on unorganized people.

Re: Pub raiding
yeah man, i'm up for that. What is college life without an all-nighter once in a while.
Back then in November, we had a massive snow storm in Canada so me and FLoody had some day game time in a public server. Our two man squad made such nasty scar on them noobs that they won't recover at least until year 2142. Also that is the best way to have fun and farm points on a titan server.

**This is MasterEditorInChief posting. Too lazy to log off this name and switch to mine**
I'd be glad to come along Fehmart. One question though... Aren't we already a public server?

Re: Pub raiding
I am in. I have been doing that on my own lately but it would be a lot more fun being in a good squad.

Re: Pub raiding
Student teaching geometry and algebra right now; need to pass my final qualification exam to teach pre-calc and above.
We ARE indeed a public server. I was referring to the barren lands outside of TG, where medics don't know what a defib is, supports only know where their left mouse button is, and half the team is sniping anyways.

Re: Pub raiding
......And, the pub raiding sounds like fun. Maybe we can get a sub-channel made on TS specifically for that???

Re: Pub raiding
If we are all in the same squad than we shouldn't need team speak too much. One TG squad in most servers will be devistating for the other team, it's almost unfair. It will be fun though.

Re: Pub raiding
Ha, me and two of my friends do this on public Titan servers (Since TG hates titan for some odd reason), and me reck the other team to hell. Our three man squad is usually the top squad on our team (usually only below a 6 man titan defense squad) and usually we take gold, silver, and bronze (unless when we actually have a commander, he usually gets gold). It is quite fun, expecially when we were assualting the core. I'd run to the back of the core room cloaked and knife all the campers. Awesome.

Re: Pub raiding
We used to have a Pub Raid channel in the BF2 channel when vanilla was in its dying days, before PoE came out. It helped to get everyone on the same server and same team, but that aspect is a bit obsolete with the Buddy List. Otherwise, its a fun place to smack-talk when the TG guys get split up and to coordinate between squads when the CO is unavailable to help out.
