Star Wars mod for BF2142

It looks really cool. I was wondering if TG was planning on supporting it/ if many people here would want to play it (even though I know it's a while before it'll be released).

before i click on the link.. im gonna make a guess... my guess is this:

storm trooper graphics for troops...
swap tie fighters with attack choppers...
milenium falcon = titan or troop choppers (havent decided yet)
knife = light sabre
guns = omgpewpewlazergun
commander = dressed like darth vader / luke skywalker (depending on side)
walkers look like the walker things in the episode 5 (2nd old one) (i think) movie
all land vehicles hover
bases/buildings look like movie stuff
(going to click on link to see how bad i am at guessing)

i once played a CS:S star wars mod, and it was bloody awful.

Well, CS:S is bloody awful in itself :P, Anyway it looks like it could be good, just gonna have to wait and see.

AT-ATs or the mini ones? Not a huge Star Wars, but I had the toys...

Boy were you wrong! This mod looks like it could be pretty amazing. They're talking about space combat! That could be the best thing ever. I, for one, am excited about this mod!

LOL! Its even more funny when you say it out loud, thanks for the laugh.

This looks pretty neat, I would play it. Lot of work going into the skins, the detail is amazing.

I remember playing a star wars mod for Battlefield 1942 that was pretty good. I think it was called Galactic Conquest, but I'm not sure. It just seems natural for 2142 to have a star wars mod.

I'm pretty sure there has been a star wars mod, or at least an attempt to create one, for every first person shooter since the beginning of first person shooters.

Well maybe not Dark Forces.
