Oh, I see, because the fact he was in a crumpled heap with limbs splayed everywhere wasn't enough?
This is great! Orca makes one post, and people flock to it. Same with his squads. I quess it says something for his 'animal magnetism', if you'll pardon the pun. Nice avatar by the way, Orca.

I can't stand the Baur's full-auto performance at ranges beyond pissing distance. It recoils like crazy and I almost always get killed in those confrontations. I know the Baur has high damage and reloads pretty fast, but I just don't feel comfortable using it. I guess I could give it a serious try for a few days (again) and see if I can appreciate it more than the Voss, but I like the 40 bullet security blanket.

Or just learn burst control. I leave the Baur in auto mode in case of emergencies (run around a corner into somebody), and fire in quick two round bursts. It's somewhat like using the VEPR in PoE2, actually- aim your first round at the centre of mass and let the recoil of the gun line the barrel up for a headshot with the second.

Re: Greetings TGs - Your server is great for SquadPlay :)
I'm going to side with Bommando, I love that Baur, but I must admit that I haven't given the Voss enough time to get used to it. I just have a hard time giving up the stopping power of the Baur - it reminds me of the g3 in BF2 - I enjoyed using it as an assault-based squad leader gun, because it would stop anyone dead when firing from the hip - the Baur similarly is not a gun you want to turn a corner and find pointing at your face.
So, thanks for the welcome guys!
Just for you all, here is an episode that I haven't posted on squadplay or any other forum.
video.google.com/videoplay?docid=1882406774641337597
just copy and paste until I make 13 more posts and can post URLs
This one has IMI-50AE plotting to do terrible things to me while I am AFK!
Since I get so much footage every weekend I think I'll start throwing out extra footage onto google video.
See you guys Saturday (I'll be out of town tonight - friday night)! Keep your eyes out for DirtyLude - I need to get a defib kill on him in order to feel better

Nice to have you on board, Orca. You're somewhat of a celebrity among teamplay-oriented people. Look forward to playing with/against you
