    Ok, I caved. GR/GRAW fan just got 2142

    Hi guys, some of you know me from TG's GRAW server, but yesterday I finally caved and got 2142. I've played on some ranked servers, but all that left me was frustrated (no teamwork, or very little that I could somehow get in on) and wishing for TG's servers where this game would go great.

    If you see me on, my soldier's name is Hiram_Yorik (he's actually a character of mine in a novel I'm writing). I'll put in clan tag of TG. Hopefully I'll see y'all on here.

    Anyway, I just wanted to say 'hi' to this realm of TG, since I've mostly kept to the GRAW side around here. I look forward to playing with y'all.

    Well, be prepared for the fact that this is NOTHING like GR or GRAW. Other than that, I advise you to get into a TG squad and take it from there.

    Hiram huh? That was Colonel Graff's first name in Ender's Game. Hope to see you around. nothing on the other pub servers that i've seen measures up to TG's team play.

    I tried GRAW on the PC and i really hated it lol...i love the 360 version though

    I know this is nothing like OGR or GRAW, that's why I have both OGR, GRAW, AND now 2142 . I like it anyway. I'm just looking forward to some nice fun teamplay . See y'all there and on TS .

    As to the novel I'm writing, it's a military sci-fi novel set about 5500 years in the future. Hiram Yorik, the character, is initially a corporal in the Imperial marines, but later in the story (and later in the story years) he becomes a platoon sergeant.

    I`m a fan of Peter F Hamilton and was wondering if you had read any of his stuff?
    The Night`s Dawn series was a very compelling read.

    If you were squadding with [TG] Hiram_Yorik, you did. Never heard of Peter Hamilton, actually. I'm a fan of David Drake, Orson Scott Card, and Robert A. Heinlen, myself (as well as W.E.B. Griffin, but he doesn't write Sci-Fi).
