Fewer TG playing 2142?

Has anyone noticed that there are fewer people playing that have TG tags? When I play now there are usually only about 10 TGers on the server. A few weeks ago there would be at least double that. Are people switching to a new game? Possibly Armed assault? or just getting tired of this game and not playing as much? I hardly ever see the players that have the in house squad numbers after the TG. Has anyone else noticed this or am I just imagining it?

I havent noticed that. Probably just coincidence.

I am not sure there are fewer Tactical Gamer members playing on the Battlefield 2142 server, but the typical playing time has seemed to change a bit over the last few weeks. You can certainly still find a good number of members on the server between 1:00 and 4:00PM EST.

I am off to play POE. The new maps are great for the infantry combat that I like. The superior design of POE and no unlocks and higher ticket counts makes the game better balanced. With limited game time come choices on what to play. Dice needs to get back the its roots or they will be outstaged by other games very quickly.

I swicthed to 2142 to get the infantry combat. But now when bf2 POE can accomodate me on that part thats where I am.

I think we can still keep 2142 a strong TG game for a while longer if we declare one day a week 2142 day.

I noticed the server population dropped a lot on the 16th, and things have been a little slow since then, and the 16th was when the WoW Burning Crusade expansion was released. So, that's my theory.

Oh yea, I Forgot about WoW. Solid reasoning. I have WoW, got expansion yesterday, so my guess is it will be a bit slow on 2142 for a few days.

I think you nailed it on the head.......

I have been dividing time between PoE and WoW.. (mostly WoW)

I will have to give some props to PoE here.. man that sure is a fun experience I havent got to play alot and definetly havent been able to get some of the grouping that I have in 2142 but the gameplay is awesome.

I'm playing! Though I have been over at the POE server with the new maps. I like to rotate games as it keeps things fresh.

I've been playing some Rainbow Six Vegas recently, so 2142 has been slightly neglected. Probably the same will happen when the english version of Armed Assault comes out.

TG populations grow and shrink. If you see fewer TG guys on the server, make sure you direct newer guys to our website as new guys do end up learning about us and eventually become veterans on the server and eventually New TG guys. Remember to welcome those like minded gamers so that we can keep populating the server with people who play like we do.
