"Gunship Funship" video

BF2142 Squad VOIP Teamwork 4 - "Gunship Funship"
I made this video with my E1st buddy Rock.
I was the gunship pilot and Rock was the gunner and we were both filming with fraps.
I then edited the two views together, enjoy.
YouTube 1st half of video
YouTube 2nd half of video
Medium resolution 80 Mb
High resolution 170Mb

Re: "Gunship Funship" video
I don't know whether to put this is the General Discussion or the Tactics forum. Either way, what a dazzling display of aerial mastery.
To begin with, the use of communication between both pilot and gunner was quite impressive. When the gunner would relay what he needed to "get the shot" to the pilot, and the pilot reciprocating by executing those demands, I was awed.
But the thing that caught my eye the most was how the pilot wasn't racing around everywhere. He held his position steady for the gunner do what he needed to do. Only when engaged in a dogfight, moving from one location to another or evading ground fire was the gunship ever moving fast.
You two do an exemplary job. Bravo.

It is the rule in war, if ten times the enemy's strength, surround them; if five times, attack them;if double, engage them; if equal, be able to divide them; if fewer, be able to evade them; if weaker, be able to avoid them.

Re: "Gunship Funship" video
most impressive! I'm going to have to try gunning again - looks like they fixed the TV missile to be more manageable than when the game was first released?

Re: "Gunship Funship" video
Aw shoot, this is just what we need. Now, when Silver isn't leading a squad against me and shredding me to pieces, he's in the gunship and shredding me to pieces.
Good show, Silver and Rock!

Re: "Gunship Funship" video
This is really innovative. The editing was very clear with indicating the transitions between the pilot and gunner. And the dialog is great!
What I found most interesting was how you both seemed to improve in skill, literally as the video progressed. With the first corkscrew you pulled to your gunner's missile kills - the double walker kill was simply classic
Daddy likes.
