Re: Die With Your Vehicle!
If you're going to talk about what annoys us most about vehicles, I hate how a walker will tip over even if repaired to 100%
What the hell does DICE think 100% represents ?!?!? I mean if they want to give a realistic representation of the complexities of a mechanical strider coming close to malfunction then make the repair time for the first 20% really long as a way of showing that it takes longer to properly repair such a complex unit. Don't have people risking their necks to repair the bloody thing only to have it tip over when the pilot takes it's next step. As an engineer I get so entirely livid when this happens, but then it's argued that EA exists only to enjoy the irritation it can provide to others. Every time I see my Walker go ass-over-tits because the game physics decides to poo and then fling it at me like a bored chimp I have to get back out of the damn crippled thing and put a pilum round between it's eyes to put it out of it's misery like a race horse with a broken leg.
"Sorry little Jimmy but your pet stomper has contracted a mechanical toe fungus so I have to drag it round the back of the shed and bust a cap in it's iron ass"
THAT is what I find more frustrating than someone who steals an item of armor!!! (but I will concede that it's a close second)

Re: Die With Your Vehicle!
On the other side a walker usually is much more resilient than a tank or APC. So the 15% easily is like 0% on the others.
A funny idea I had is that repairing actually was a little like "repairing". And when a vehicle was damage bits would fall off... and you had to find them on the field and place them back there to repair ahha

Re: Die With Your Vehicle!
Look on the bright side: in a real situation, a tank or an APC could just go up and ram said walker to tip it over. :P
